Mark December 11th in your diaries for the 2010 Taupo Half Ironman. Online Entries will open in April, be in quick we are expecting closed field for 2010.

SEARCHABLE RESULTS
Now up and running, we had a few technical glitches so apologise for delay. Don’t panic when you see your age as 99 yrs, computer was fair and gave you all same age just ignore this. You have been given placing into age groups and overall.

TRIATHLON WORLD CHAMPS
Germany 2010. All the best for those wanting to qualify for the worlds remember to have your nomination forms in to Triathlon NZ by the 12th of January.

WINNERS 2009
Taupo’s Duncan Milne winning this year’s Pearl Izumi Taupo Half Ironman while Melissa Holt fastest female home. Milne (4:09.22) held off Auckland’s Brodie Madgwick by five minutes and Mt Manganui’s Blair Jordan, who was a further five minutes back. Fresh from her victory in the Workout Zone Women’s Road Race at the Wattyl Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge two weeks ago, Melissa Holt won the women’s race ahead of Jessica Lawson (Tauranga) and Ali Hollinton (Napier).

FASTEST TEAM
Taupo-nui-a-tia College elite team of Mitchell Nairn, Patrick Bevin and John Glanville . With the tightest battle for fastest split being the swim leg between two local high performing athletes of Cameron Todd (Triathlete) & Mitch Nairn (Swimmer) it came down to their transition which gave Nairn the Win.

ENTRIES 2009
Almost 950 entrants took place in what was a fantastic day – flat swim, favourable wind and cool running - we were particularly pleased with a 45% increase in team entries from last year which added to the fun and friendly atmosphere of the event.

CHARITY
We wish Ashleigh all the best in her venture for voluntary work in Africa. A huge thankyou for supporting her in Dunk and Donate she managed to raise $400.00 which was awesome.
